Thumbs down Electric Window

My 2005 American Tradition's drivers electric window quit. I am having it repaired, but, when we pulled the assembly, there was about 2" of water in the pan under the window! I removed the water and cleaned the tray, but cannot find any drain. Is there supposed to be one...and where?

If water can run down the window into the area, there should be a drain. What's directly under the cavity? If it is open to the ground, a simple hole could be drilled to allow water out. If there's a compartment or something else, perhaps there's supposed to be a drain hose. Look carefully from underneath and see if you can find a hose that might be blocked. I'd also gently poke at the bottom of the tray to probe for a drain that is blocked off by sediments. If all else fails, put water back in the tray with detergent to help loosen any greasy sediments and watch from underneath for signs of water dripping.
