Electrical

Can't put my 2000 Dutch Star into "store". Red light on Intelletic BD-1 Battery disconnect panel just stays on. Does anyone know just what the disconnect panel controls to disconnect the batteries?

There is a large solenoid (electrically operated relay) near the batteries that is operated by the switch. Basically the switch puts or removes 12v across the small terminals on the solenoid and that in turn causes the big internal relay to close or open.

In all likelihood, just your switch is bad.
