electrical issue

well, home in south fl after the rally. plugged into 50 amp and everything fine. went out to dinner, when we came home no ac, power down to 30 amp, rotten night without ac. we opened the windows and turned on a portable fan, middle of night big rainstorm, rain came in the open windows, I want to scream, this morning new breaker put in at 50 amp, it has been working for about 4 hrs, so I guess that problem is solved. my bedroom air will not operate, oh well, here we go again, tech is coming tomorrow. I guess this fun lifestyle needs lots of cash to keep it up, we are trying, we went through eight states to get to the rally and we did have a lot of fun. I guess that riding down the road in this huge vehicle and going over lots of bumps can wreck havoc. Does anyone know why 50 amp would suddenly become 30 amp after a couple of hrs?

What went to "30 Amps"? Was it your energy management system? Still, you should have been able to run one AC unit (or two if little else is being used, i.e. microwave etc). A 50 Amp outlet (wired properly and both breakers on) is really 100 amps as you have two 120 volt-50 amp feeds.

Also, yes your rig will almost always needs something. Right now I need to replace my step controller. I don't like spending money to keep everything going but I do most of the work myself. I learned to sort of enjoy fixing things.

From his descriiption: One of the 50 amp breakers at the park post failed (There are two breakers ganged) the EMS in his RV thus sensed the power as 30 amp.

The air conditioner issue may or may not be related.
