Would you please try that again. xantrex is now a canadian co and they have a different way of posting support for their products. The simple name will yield much information. Is your inverter a Freedom 15? If it is the original than it is 13 yrs? This would be a Heart inverter.

Do you have a remote control panel? What is it telling you if you have one?

I always suggest looking in the coach owners bag for more information. But not all used coaches have everything with them.

Keep posting and we'll keep helping. One step at a time to save confusion.

Because of the year of your coach I think you have a Heart Freedom 15 inverter. On the inverter do you have a couple of soft buttons labeled 'inverter' and 'charger'? Do you have any lights lit on the inverter?

When you look at the inverter it should have this information on it in pretty bold writing. Could you post a picture of your inverter? We can figure this thing out together. Can you use a volt meter? Another thought I have is that you may have a blown fuse between the batteries and the inverter, but I may be getting too far ahead in troubleshooting.

Hello.
thanks. For responding. I've not seen ant thing with a volt meter nor any thing that looks like a converter. I'm going to take the cover off the bottom of refrigerator. Where two fuse breakers are but I don't think there's anything behind that. But will keep you inform ed. Thanks for your help

The inverter has no buttons on it for reset. My buddy had the same problem and he had a reset button next to his inverter. I'm sure the problem is at the inverter. Just can't figure out how to reset a 2000 Monaco inverter. Help

What model coach do you have? Did you try contacting Monaco? Problems such as this one are very hard to remotely troubleshoot. Much more information is needed before advise can be given that may be relevant to your situation.

I would suggest you get someplace, hook up and find a mobile RV Tech to come and pay him to walk you through your systems because it is obvious that you need more help than can be given on line. Yes, it will cost you some, but it clear you didn't get a good walk through when you purchased your coach and you haven't any idea what people are trying to tell you to look at. I takes some reading to understand your whole 120v and 12v systems.

Help. Still have not solved my electrical problem. 2000 Monaco knight coach. Overloaded the outside electrical plug when I plugged in a compressor. Now I do not have power to front t v, bedroom t v, microwave, electrical outlets in bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, living room. Checked all GFI's, all GFI's reset except for bathroom GFI, bathroom GFI will not reset and it does not have power. All Breakers are all set. Have been advised that the inverter needs to be reset. Can not locate a reset button on my inverter. My inverter is a Xantrex Freedom
Marine 15.

Resetting inverters.. Sometimes there are circuit breakers, usually POST type (Push in to reset) that are well hidden on the back side where you can only find them by the brail method (Touch). Sometimes you need to work at it a bit.

For example in a "Worst case" reset on my inverter I need to 1: Make a cup of coffee. Set aside.
2: Turn OFF inverter at the switch on the Inverter
3: Remove shore/generator power (Unplug/turn off)
4: Remove DC power (Lift battery cables)
5: Enjoy coffee
6 Restore DC power
7:Restore AC power
8:Turn switch back on.

NOTE: you can substitute your favorite brew for coffee.

Did you look at the manual @
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...50165853,d.b2I ??

Is that the inverter you have?

If so, see "Trouble Shooting Status", page 31 , 4th row from the top, the far right box has the following written in it: "reset the inverter by pushing the INVERT button. LED should blink".

If not, find a manual and read it there's a lot of other useful information in
Xantrex manuals.

The OP has a "Xantrex Freedom Marine 15" inverter/charger.
Mine is a "Heart Freedom 20".
What is the make/model of yours?
