Electrical problem

We are very new to this RV world. We bought a used Monaco Wndsor. We have been trying for 4 trips to find and easier way to connect the Navigation system. We would like to just plug into the "cigarette light out let but there is no power being received.

We have started the engine, we have tried both outlets, we have the battery power to the coach on and no power. We think the next step would be the fuses. Any one else have any ideas? Any clues about which fuse

Thanks for any help.

Yes checking the fuses would be the next step , in looking for you no 12v power problem, and I'm sorry I can't provide info on the fuse box location for you. If you don't have an answer soon , try posting in the owners forum , more Monaco owners will see your post there.

Windsor Fuses

I have a 2002 Monaco Knight, my fuse box is in the bay just in front of the left steer wheel.

Eva....the fuse you're looking for is in the bay mentioned above. On a Monaco, it's referred to as the front "Run Bay". There are many fuses and some do double duty. When you open the bay, there will be a large plastic box (18" x 18") mounted to the back wall. It has three plastic wingnuts that hold the cover on. You'll find the fuses under this cover. The back side of the cover list all the fuses. You might want to take a photo of the list and either print it out or keep it on your phone. It will make life easier next time you're looking for a blown fuse.

You also have a fuse panel in the rear bedroom, near were the main 120 volt breakers are located. This smaller panel covers several interior components.

Here is a great tool sold at auto parts stores and Walmart. It lets you test your fuses without removing them.
