Question Electrical problem.

Hi Guys, Well last week while camping (2003 R Vision Condor) I found my window fans had stopped working. They definitely worked before. I checked the obvious, (fuses, relay, switch) I found the fuses ok but I have no power at the switch. Any ideas??

No power at either side of the switch - right?

Did you check your fuses with a meter or simply look at them?

Is there a slip on connector that goes to the fuse block that could be off, loose, corroded or needs re-crimping? (That's true at the switch end also.)

With the age of the unit, I'd suspect corroded connectors. My rig is 2008 and when I have trouble it's usually a connector. So, luckily, most of my wiring is labelled, and I can pull connectors, spray with CRC contact cleaner and lubricant, let air dry, then add some dielectric grease (to prevent future corrosion) and reassemble all the connections as I troubleshoot.

Sometimes I've had to make a "jumper" wire that I take directly from a good fuse and bring to the switch or connector that I suspect is not working... I touch the jumper to the connection to see if the device starts working...
