I don't know your chassis, but I'm knowledgeable in HD Brakes.. fill in the blanks below...
Do you have air brakes or hydraulic brakes? If you have hydraulic brakes, do you have a large drum on the drive shaft and a band that goes around the drum to serve as an emergency brake?
Erickson's RV in ID, Address: 425 E Borah Ave, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814
Erickson's is a company that tears down and scraps damaged RV's and will salvage any part that they think they can sell... they are nice folks to deal with.. I've been by their location many times just hunting for stuff....

Thanks
lankfour,
Your F-53 chassis most likely has the "ZF" parking brake, correct? If so, it's on the rear of the transmission and is cable operated, correct? May I ask, why is it you want to get a new or used one? Is it not working correctly? Is it leaking auto-trans fluid? Ford says they're "not rebuildable" but, as usual, I (and many others) have proved Ford wrong on that. I have plenty of pictures of mine apart if you'd like to see how it looks. Let me know.
Scott
