EMS problem

Hello Everyone

I have a 2008 Fleetwood Discovery, when I start my generator the ems lights up and goes through it's two minute delay before turning on appliances. The problem is after it turns on two or three appliances it goes back to the two minute delay Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Happy New Year!!!!!

Sounds like your gen set is not maintaining voltage as the load increases. Try turning off all major loads first. Then after the EMS allows current to flow, turn on loads as you need them and watch the voltage.

Update I tried to such off those appliances that pull a big load. The problem still exist. I went to the bedroom where the breaker box is located and noticed a clicking sound from the relays when each appliance was engergized. What was different when the second ac would kick in the relay made a different noise than the rest, and the ems would go back to the time delay. Any thoughts?

Is it tripping the breaker for the second A/C when it makes the "different" noise? If not then my money would be a bad relay. Here is another test, turn off all the load breakers that are hooked to the EMS then start the process. With all breakers off it should go through its cycle and stabilize. If it does then start turning on breakers except for the one that make a funny noise when the relay trips. Or maybe that is what you alredy did and if so I would go back to my money being a bad relay. I will say though that if you call Intellitec they have great customer service.

It's not tripping the breaker. I have tried bringing the loads on one at time but it stills go back to the two minute delay.
The relays, can they be purchased seperately or do you have to buy the complete control board? Thanks in advance for the help.
