ems pt 50c

Has anyone mounted one of these in a basement compartment PT50C - 50AMP PORTABLE ELECTRICAL PROTECTION SYSTEM ?

I can't fit the hard wired one inside the MH , and my power cord is in a wet bay ( go figure ). I have room to mount it however the male and female ends that I need to splice into my power cord will have to make some sharp turns. Any advice is appreciated.

You might want to find the transfer switch and see if there is room there to install the hard wired version or even at the distribution panel after the transfer switch, if there is room behind or near it.

Thanks 007, I've seen Dav's install before and that's where I got my idea of putting the portable ems in line with my shore cord as it's in a wet bay.

Mike, I don't have room by the transfer switch or panel to install the hard wired one.( wish I did)

EMS

I too, tried to install the hard wired version and it wouldn't fit. I opted for the portable one and kept it in the wet bay without any problems. It was a lot more secure there than out in the open.

I knew I wasn't crazy ( no comments ). If you could post a photo of your install, I would appreciate it
