The insulation on our 2007 National TradeWind had started to fall down and was not doing its job. Bedroom and closet got very hot driving down the road.
After researching several different brands and styles of insulation I chose a product from DEI called Floor & Tunnel Shield II. I got it from Speedway Motors https://www.speedwaymotors.com/DEi-0...-In,71051.html
After removing all the old insulation, sanding a little rust and cleaning the panels. I sprayed a good primer sealer. The floor and Tunnel sheets can be ordered in larger pieces so I started with the largest area to cover. Which was one of the easier ones to get to this product is a little expensive so I put the old saying measure twice and cut once to use. It is self-adhesive so I could pre fit it and then remove the backing.
This stuff is fairly easy to cut and lite weight. After removing the backing I find this stuff is really sticky. So getting it set where you want it before it makes contact is important. I started with fitting it up along the back. Then I wall paper roller and worked it down.
I will seal it off with Aluminum tape.
First trip out we drove 2 hours at 70 mph and 1 hour at 65. Then stopped checked the closet and bedroom and it was all most the same temperature as the rest of the coach.
