Engine diagnostic plug
I have a 2002 Winnebago Ultimate Advantage, does anyone know where I can find the plug for the engine diagnostic reader. I have an ABS light on and was hoping to find the problem with a reader.

I would think it would be under the dash. Mine is on the left side of the steering wheel where my SilverLeaf is plugged in.

Mine is also near just under the top of the dash near the steering wheel. Easy access is by a plastic panel arched over the instrument panel, held in place with velcro.
Also, most DP's will have one located in back somewhere in the engine compartment.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
I'm not familiar with your rig, but it should be visible under the dash, usually near the steering column! Keep her between the ditches!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

On my '04 American Tradition with Freightline XCM chassis, the diagnostic plug is in the back at the engine. It is strictly an engine diagnostic tool - the ABS is a separate component and not integrated. I never looked to see if there is one under the dash also.
I've read that Winnebagos have them under the dash to the left of the steering column, but have no personal knowledge of that.
Also: you need a diesel engine code reader, e.g. a Scan Gauge Diesel. It's not OBD II like your car.

I suggest you call Freightiner Custom Chassis owber support at 1-800-FTL-HELP and ask about ABS diagnostics. Maybe there is a plug and a reader available.

Yes I've looked and can't find one yet, and you're right not OBD II, but should be the Atari plug.
