Engine Removal

If an engine needs to be replaced in a Class A gasser, how is that done?

The only way I see is to remove the doghouse, dash and windshield to lift it up and out after stripping it of manifolds and accessories and such.

The MH in question is a 2005 Allegro Bay.

Thanks,

Keith

On the Ford Chassis, it comes out from the bottom after removing front axle, etc.

ROCKY, this is also how it is done on your W-24. It isn't all that difficult to remove the axle and save all that potential damage to the interior of your coach.

Ed-Thanks. This is for a buddy who fried his 8.1 which rides on a W22 so I assume it's the same.

Yes the w22 should be nearly the same. Be glad it is NOT a P32 chassis because the IFS isn't as simple to remove
