Call Cummins-Mobile (251) 456-2236. They only work on Cummins engines so they should be able to help.

Have you tried a truck repair shop? If you give them your engine size and serial number they should be able to find a starter number for you.

Hi! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
Can't help with the starter but noticed that you're kinda new on IRV2 and wanted to say hello! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Go here and enter your vehicle information. Then you can look up the p/n for the starter.

I wish I could but it had blown apart
It’s an odd ball for sure
Was hoping someone with the same year and model of motorhome could get me the pt# from their starter

Take what you have to a big truck starter / alternator shop , see what they say
Ram diesel pickups use the ISB engine and may use the same starter .
Many people think gear starters are better than original
So why not check here , they are probably cheaper than a new original starter
anyway . You will probably need to call them .

Glad you found one.
Rules I follow for drivetrain parts.
Never tell a parts guy its for a rv.
Engine. Give them make and serial #
Trans.ission the same.
Running gear. Get a picture and part #
NAPA and other parts stores have the parts or can get them within 12 to 24 hrs.
Big truck parts counters have it all or can get it.
Most All starters, Alternators
Etc. Can be re uilt in a few hrs.
Or exchanged.
Big truck salvage yards Are rich with
Just what you may need.
They dont care if you have a pete,
Kenworth, Sterling, prevo, winnie,
Or CAT truck or rv.
Vin# and Detroit, Cummins, Cat
Will get it.
