Entry door alignment

Upper left corner (viewed from outside) of entry door is sticking to the point of scraping aluminum frame. Coach is leveled using auto mode then slides are extended. Using hand level, the coach indicates level but door sticks. Should I raise passenger rear jack to offset and will this harm my slide? Thanks

Does the door stick all of the time? If not I would be more concerned with why your chassis is flexing so much. If the door does stick all of the time check to make sure the hinges on the door are tight. Hinges can also become bent from overextending.

What chassis do you have?

Check all the screws holding the door hinges. They might be loose, broken or missing. Also when the door is open try to lift and move it around to see if the hinges are worn out or if there is any excessive movement of the door or any of the door mounting hardware. Also look very carefully at the hinges to see if they are bent. Did the wind ever grab the door when it was open?

Just another thought. Could the door opening be out of square? If you have , or can borrow, a carpenters framing square you can check the opening for square. If you can't get a carpenters square you can check it with a tape measure by measuring the diagonals. Upper left corner to bottom right and then upper right corner to bottom left. If the opening is square the measurements should be the same. You could do the same for the door itself.

I have used a 2x4 placed against the left edge of the door and then struck with a sledge hammer to push the upper hinge back into position.
