Test drove a 2011 Vista 32J yesterday, impressed but apprehensive!
Help?

If you can be more specific on what you would like help with it will improve the responses you get.

They had one at the FMCA rally in Albany OR a month or so ago. We looked at it and found lots of unfinished items. Now, this unit may have been one of the first off the line so it may have more things wrong and the quality may improve. We just weren't impressed at all, in fact we were disappointed.

Being new to it all and not having purchased anything yet I am just trying to get some impressions or opinions of the Vista line.
We're waiting for the 35F to come out and take a good look at it. From what I can see there is no limit to what one can buy if the pocket book is adequate.

Any info, recommendations or experiences would be greatly appreciated. We look forward to joining so many already out there and enjoying life on the road.

Since you are new to this it's probably overwhelming. You are right the only limit is your wallet. Do a lot of looking till you find what suits your life style. Then test drive freeways and all for swaying and getting blown around, a short trip around the block will not give you a true feel. Chassis mean a lot for a enjoyable trip.

To answer the question in the subject of this thread...yes, an entry level diesel. The Vista is number six of six diesels in the Winnebago line.

When we saw it in Albany OR they had it parked between a Newmar Essex ($630,000 list price) and a Newmar Ventana (about $280,000 list as I remember). Tough competition since we have a Newmar Dutch Star ($211,700 list in 2002).
