Cool Equalizer Systems Auto Level Jacks

2013 Canyon Star. Living in it for a year and a half. Has been sitting in campground for 6 months and I buttoned it all up to took it for its spring drive for 30 miles or so. Raised the jacks no issues, came back to set up again and the jacks won't come down. the coach is level already so it's not excess slope. When I turn on the system the ignition is off and brake set. I turn on power and all the lights come on and it beeps several times going through it's usual start up procedures and then I hit auto level and instead of it extending out I just get a solid beep. I try manual and again just beeps. When I hit retract all or the individual retract buttons you hear the hydraulics operating. The reservoir is full and I don't see anything out of the ordinary under the hood. I noticed this morning when I got up that the power button light is blinking every six seconds, (doesn't usually do that) I haven't tried the system again. Any thoughts on the subject would be appreciated.

Low battery 12v? Maybe one of the interlocks is not seeing good status? Depending on the coach wiring, it may be looking for tranny in neutral, parking brake on, key off, etc.

What does the Equalizer Op Manual say about the flashing light and solid beep? If you don't have one, get it at https://equalizersystems.com/operati...ation-manuals/

There is troubleshooting info on the Equalizer site.

My Power Gear system requires ignition key on or accessory.

Remove the control panel and check the connections on the back. I had mine act similar with a loose plug.

If that doesn't take care of it, I Have also had loose connections on the main control unit under the floor.

The contactor on our 2014 gas Newmar was sticking and did exactly what you describe. That's the big relay on the hydraulic motor that powers it. Strategic rapping on it worked to unstick it. Don't use metal, or be careful not to short the wiring.

It's also possible the wiring between the controller and contactor is faulty.

There's three small leads going to the contactor to control it. -Ground, +up, +down. With a meter or test light check to see if the contactor is receiving the +12v signal to extend the jacks.

Make sure your ignition is OFF or keys are pulled out from the ignition. Min won’t move if keys are in the acc position
