Wowser, just to put minds at ease, the used motor oil fits just nicely in the empty oil jugs (5 quart, 5w-30). Autozone parts stores, have always allowed me to dispose of used motor oil in their used bulk oil drums. The oil filter seals right up in a good zip lock bag. No fuss no muss!
Disposing of used motor oil on the ground, in water drains, and sewers is totally unacceptable.
I knew my Utah trip was going to run over the oil change interval, so I changed it "on the road."
My coach is high enough off the ground, so there is no problem getting under it to do the service.
The maintenance schedule for my Brave with the 454 calls for an oil/filter change at 3000 miles when pulling a "trailer," in this case my toad. I can not in good conscience go against their recommendation to suit my convenience. In this case would have been 1200 miles over the limit.

Gorilla tape. It sticks more than you want. Epoxy, fast and slow. Test probe leads,,,the little tap that will pierce a wire has saved me a lot of time and trouble. Fireproof lock box for important papers (although now we can download our medical info - history, meds, even MRI data when we need help out of area). If you use wifi, get an extender. Our present camp signal is at 52 percent, the extender brings it up to 100 percent. Some STRONG 6X6 blocks to put under jacks in soft areas.

AND don,t forget bird feeders, squirrel feeders, humming bird food and feeders, geranium plants to help hold down the awning, party lights, a swing settee, extra cat litter boxes, a good printer/fax/copier, and lots of patience.
