The best brand is Stressless by Ekornes.

The most comfortable and the most expensive.

I love mine. It's the most comfortable chair I ever sat in...........and fell asleep in.

We have one in the coach and one in the house. Very comfy and excellent for that much needed power nap!

We put two of these in our last motorhome which had limited space as a drop down table was located between the recliners. They are comfortable and the backs are easily removable so you can get them through the entry door.

Had a pair in the MH. Comfortable to set in, but got to be really hard for an old fat man to get out of. Foot stool was kind of in the way. Finally got rid of them and put in a pair of wall away power recliners. Much better.

While I don't have one, I've sat in a lot of them...testing them out while shopping floorplans. There's good ones & bad ones, some more comfortable than others. A Stressless comes on some AC coaches (when mentioning to a local dealer how comfortable the Stressless was, the salesman stated "if you buy the chair for $300k, I'll throw in the coach for free."....funny guy! )

I like the idea of a stand-alone footrest so people with different leg lengths can adjust to fit. Ones with integrated footrests often leave long-legged people with too much leg dangle.

Be sure you sit in them for a while if you're going to purchase. Some compare themselves to Ekornes (ie the ones BraddandHall sells), but they aren't even close.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Euro style chairs

When we bought our DS, it included a pair of Lambright recliners. Didn't much care for the look, but that was ok. Felt ok in a sit test for 5 min or so, but we discovered in a month or so that when reading, watching, anything over about 20 min or so got kind of constraining.

Pulled 'em, sold 'em, and replaced 'em with a nice pair of big commodious La-Z-Boys. These you could sleep through the night in. Come to think of it, I have a few times!
