Got to my camp and heard a noise when I went back to disconnect the car heard the engine running with the doors locked. Got my extra key and took care of the car. Car seems fine.

Has anyone ever done this?

Have done this many times pulling a Honda Odyssey. Hasn't done any damage.

Been there....done that.

Used to have the habit of throwing my keys down on the floor under the seat so that I didn't have to carry them around.

Then I got a vehicle with power locks and got into the habit of locking the door.

I spent so much $$$$$ getting someone to come out and unlock my vehicle cause I locked the keys in it, I bought a membership to AAA. I used up my 3 free callouts in about a week and a half and then I was back to paying for someone to come out and unlock the door.

I figure that habit cost me about $750 till I broke myself of it.

I keep two sets of keys. In one pocket is my key FOB with gas cap, "Club" and ignition. In the other pocket is house and ignition(door) keys.

2004 32' National Sea Breeze 1311 Class A on a F-53 Chassis, CHF, TST TPMS, 5Star Tune.
If Dunner (RVM23) can't fix it, it ain't broke!
