under the bed how many accesses do you have? I have a 2004 39k and my accesses are under the step going up to the closet and in the closet. They are both about 12 inches deep and 36 inches wide. There is a smaller one under my bed that is about 12x12. That one gives me access to the exhaust brake.

There should be an access cover either in a closet or bedroom or under the bed.

It all depends on manufacture, floor-plan, etc.

You should have 2 accesses under your bed the largest one closest to the foot of the bed should give you access to the front part of the engine and the exhaust brake. While you are there check the air line to the exhaust brake. Mine was right against the exhaust and had burn through. replacing it was easy and about $60.
