A couple of years ago I had my Exhaust brake stick in closed position coming out of San Diego. I pulled over cycled the switch several times until the air pressure dropped off the actuator and the valve opened up. It did that one other time on that trip. When I returned home I check the solenoid and found it was not closing and exhausting the air on the actuator. I changed out the solenoid and lubed all the points with hi temp silicone and it has worked great ever since. BTW, when it sticks closed you will have no power and your exhaust will blow wet black smoke.
