Experience With Motorhome Specialists

More often than not folks write about their bad experiences with companies. I just wanted to take a minute to talk about my experience with Motorhome Specialists in Alvarado, Tx.

I bought my used Newmar Essex from these guys in February. I feel like I got a really good deal. When we took delivery they were really slammed with many units going out at the same time. We had some issues that we shouldn't have had with things that we thought had been fixed, but hadn't. When you buy from them it is on a "As Is" basis.

We uncovered the issues during our shakedown cruise. Because of other circumstances, that wasn't until about a month later. I was just sure that the company was going to stiff us. But I was pleasantly surprised at the attitude of the ownership there. They took care of everything without any grumbling. It was a very positive experience for us.

That's a breath of fresh air, alot of them don'know you once the $$$ change hands. If you have a dealer that treats you fair support them when ever you can, rather than buying rv supplies from EBay. The only way they survive is by making a profit. We call them for advice then buy parts from where ever to save $10.00, and wonder why the good dealers are all gone.

We bought a used Southwind from them at the first of the month. We were pleased with the way the sale handled, the price, the people that worked there. It's good to hear they stand behind their sales.
