Extended Trip

Again I have another question. We are planning a trip from PA to NV is the spring and will probably be stopping in the inter-state rest areas. My question is what do you do about the black and gray tanks along the way. Is it best to stop and spend the night at RV parks when the tanks need to be dumped or is there other options. Also is there other things we need to know. I'm sure there is. Thanks for the help again.

When I picked mine up in California last Sept. on the trip back from LA. via NV and CO to MI there were many interstate rest areas along the way that had dump stations in them.

Somewhere along the line since then I've seen a book or two for sale with the information as well as being listed on the internet.

Flying J and other Truck stops have dump stations along with some rest areas.

If you travel on turnpikes, many of them have service plazas with RV water/dump stations. Ohio does.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

We made a fast trip east from CA on I-40 in late 08', the rest areas in OK were great. We did not need to dump, but did take on water at one of them. The OK rest areas we stopped at had dump stations and parking was in 3 areas, cars, RV's and trucks. We spent the night in one.
