Click the "Find" button above and type in extended warranties to see the discussions already posted. We purchased one when we bought our coach. Haven't used it. Would we buy it again? I really don't know. Sorry, I am not familiar with the ExtraRide warranty.

Hi UB40, welcome aboard. You'll find a lot of information here, so try hitting the "find mode" search button. I remember almost 60/70 comments regarding warranty. Again, welcome and happy hunting.
I'm sure you'll find exactly what you're looking for 'casue you've come to the right site for everything/everyone RV related.

ub40, welcome to iRV2.com. We are gald to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy this website as much as you like RVing. I personally do not buy extended warranties. I can repair them myself. Be sure that you read the find print of any contract and understand it before buying. You can also do a search for earlier discussions on this topic. Click on the find button, enter the criteria, and uncheck to only search in the present forum. Good luck and have a great summer.
P.S. I have added a short cut to the New Members Check-In section, so others can welcome you.

Yeah, but that's not fair Mike. You're a Certified Master RV Tech! Some of us aren't that gifted or experienced...

I bought an extended warranty on-line (the dealers mark them up way too much) right after I bought my coach about two years ago. It was a one year old used unit. My warranty just paid for itself with the last repair that I had completed. In my case, it was well worth the money and peace of mind.

any time the words "Extended' is associated with the word " warranty" it means that your are buying a service contract which will be very specific about the things that are covered and generally you must get prior approval before starting any repair. At least Good Sam does not use the Word Warranty in their CSP offering. I would read the contract very carefully to determined just what is covered and what proof you must have in order for them to authorize a repair. For example if you miss an oil change by 500 miles are you still covered?
