I'm not saying an extended warranty is worthless, but it sure ain't 100% bumper to bumper. Read the contract carefully and ignore the sales guy.

I had a so called 100% Bumper to Bumper warranty on a 2012 Denali What a bunch of crap, warranty and TT. The counter top during the second year cold winter pulled away from the wall 1 inch pulling the wall paper with it. The curved part of the counter top started cracking and pulling away from the rest of the counter top. The Factory warranty had run out. The extended warranty would not pay. In the fine print it said counter tops not covered. There is no such thing as a 100% bumper to bumper service contract or extended warranty. There are to many exclusions and ways to weasel out of paying. That is why I say I will never buy another extended warranty.
