I think they shop you around. I think there has been lotsa other threads on that. We have used Star and Good Sam...Do your research...IMO... These companies are in business to make money. But in my case I have found that if the claim is legitimate and filed correctly they will be covered. And I think they are a must have unless you have cash to cover the break down...Good Luck....D

If your RV is new everything should be covered for at least 1 year already. Wait until the year is almost over and then decide if you need an extended warranty. Good Sam's seems to be popular.

Good Luck,
Jon

We went with X-tra ride. Love the coverage so far. 2 claims, all paid with no questions or problems. They paid the service center so I did not have to pay and then try to get reimbursed.

The thought of repair insurance is captivating, but in most events, they find some reason your repair is not covered, I purchased a Good Sam extended warranty for a new 2007 diesel Motor Home for $8,000. They havent covered items even listed on their policy. Our repair company told me before he began repairing a slide out motor they wouldn't cover it because none of the policies he had worked with covered anything. He was right they refused the repair immediately, I hate to generalize such things, but I for one feels taken. Brian

Thank you!
We purchased the Performance First policy in January on 07 Endeavor. 5 years 50,000 miles 2600 and change. Our inverter went bad the first wanted to replace with a rebuilt inverter that would have cost me my 100.00 deductible. After repair shop talk to them they offered to pay for most of a new one all I had to pay was 250.00 for a new instead of rebuilt. So for now I'm happy with the policy we purchased.
