Exterior sidewall dimples

Ours is a Fleetwood 38K, 2015. We've develop 8 inch long by 5 inch wide dimples (depressions) on the exterior sidewall. There are two and are about one-eighth inch deep. They are located mid-panel aligned with the interior powder-room. Any ideas as to why these have developed and whether
this is something that needs to be repaired. It does not seem to be water damage.

Sorry to hear about your problems. Two 5x8 depressions are not good. If you are still in your warranty period, call Fleetwood and see what they advise. It might help if you can post pics of the outside and comparable inside where the problem lies.

Good luck!

I agree with the previous post. Depressions are unusual as bubbles are much more common and indicate a delamination problem, which might be what you have, but that isn't common. Being near the midsection of the coach, it is possible that it indicates some sort of flex in the frame rails but that seems unlikely. My best advice is to get it checked out as soon as possible and don't let it go or put it off!

Thanks for your input guys. It seems by the lack of responses or of others who have had this problem that it is a rare feature. We are now at the factory in Decatur and will see what they say.

Sounds like maybe the outside wall is being sucked in by fastners inside the coach, maybe like a powder room wall, fastened to the outside wall and whatever they used is pulling that outside wall inward? Let us know what fleetwood says.
