We usually keep up to 100.00 credit a month, traveling from Pa to southern NJ. It cost us around 24 dollars for a round trip to and fro. So depending on where your going and what the tolls are, Keep that amount in EZ pass. EZ pass saved us in 30 min of time. Theres no stopping theres no hassle,s with the Jerks that never have the correct change. And or there Lost.

I also live in PA and have an EZpass for the class A RV and another account for the car. Each account is set up with $100 through a credit card to fund accounts when low. When driving to Wisconsin from PA - I saved 45 minutes with EZpass around Chicago. And I've driven there since 1970 and have yet to find a short cut !

Ok so to make sure I'm understanding this correctly.

Setup motorhome pass for however many axles you have and same for toad. If you take coach on the road with no toad there is no need to remove any ez pass device. With coach and toad just leave the device in each vehicle when going through ez pass lane correct?

We have them already in all of out vehicles except motorhome and want one for it.

pdw757: The ezpass I've had for years for PA - is mounted on my RV. When pulling a toad - I wrap the ezpass for the toad with tinfoil. So - when going thru tollbooth - the weight and the axles are counted and the ezpass is charged accordingly for the rv account. If you have an ezpass for the RV and the car available - it will double charge you.

I just got my first EZ-pass an hour ago in person. Since we don't need for the car they gave 2 for the MH. One for not using a toad and one for when using a toad. Then they needed the info on the toad, to which I replied , I have 2. So they put both plate numbers on the pass used when towing. They will not cover either toad by itself.

I have standard EZ-Passes for my cars, vans, toad & pickup truck. I used one of the van passes for the MH and have had no problems. I do put the toad pass in the foil wrapper when it comes along. Make sure that you register all of your plates on the EZ-Pass web-site.

E-ZPass - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
FL uses Sunpass for tolls and parking at airports also. OK uses PikepassVA will take credit cards at tollbooths.

Can an EZ Pass be ordered online, or do you have to get it in person?

Where do you place it on the glass? They told me to put dead center of windshield, but it's a one piece and will look like hell. Can it be put near the top just under the tint?

I put mine at the top of the windshield, just above the dog. Works fine there (the EZ-Pass, not the dog).
