EZZRV TPMS Sensor Batteries Went Bad

Hi All, my EZZ RV TPMS sensor went bad. It wasn't sending a response so I opened it up and found that the original battery had leaked. Now this isn't the first time this has happened. When I received the sensor kit new in July, one of the sensor was not working straight out the box. I opened it up and found a corroding battery. I have cleaned both units up after each instance and replaced each with a new battery I bought from Home Depot. So be aware you may wish to replace the batteries in the units since they do not appear to be to sturdy.

Try another battery source as well.
Home Depot may not have the freshest 2032 type batteries

The EEZRV uses CR1632 batteries not CR2032.

That's just half the thickness and amp hour.
Even a less used battery and all the more reason not to use HD

I had problems with my flow thru sensors, had numerous times when a sensor would drop out. Upon opening it up, I would find moisture in the sensors. Sent them back and got replacements, and same thing happened with the replacements. I personally believe the flow thru design is flawed.

They replaced my flow thru sensors with the regular caps, and haven't had a problem since. I rarely if ever have to add air to my tires, so if I do just unscrew the cap....no big deal.

I couldn't be happier with the cap sensors.
