FASTEST way to information Mid Door MHs

I'm placing our interest in getting a mid-door Diesel Pusher higher and higher on the Want list due to DW preferring to not have to get up when anybody exits or enters the coach.

Could those of you that know DPs with that configuration chime in? our Year Range goal is 2003-2007 (prior to DEF) 36-39' preferred.

Thanks in advance for the information.

Alpine coach had pretty popular mid door floor plans in those years. I think Beaver may have also.

Winnebago and Itasca both had them in 2008 - 09. Winnebago made the Destination and the Itasca made the Latitude. They made a 37 and 39 ft model. We have a Itasca 39W dp, and like it a lot.

Foretravel made a few mid entry coaches in that age range but they are very difficult to find ...here's a photo of a 36-footer CLICK

Monaco made a Safari Sahara in that age range too. Here's a photo of a 2004 CLICK and a 2003 36-footer CLICK

Newell has mid-entry models but I belive the ones in that age range are all over 39-feet unless you look for an older one such as this one which is a 38-footer but in a 1979 model : CLICK

We love the mid-door entry on our 40' Alpine Coach. You can take a virtual tour of our coach here.

Being a active shopper for my first MH I prefer the mid door entry way over the forward door although you give up some wall space. You don't ware out the floor entering and exiting the coach walking all the way through the coach to get to the head. The protection over the door while on your patio from the awning works better too IMO. What about the safety on being able to operate the door if there is a collision? It all seams more desirable to me.

Dang my taste for expensive good stuff!! We can't yet bring ourselves to applying that much coin into something that we use maybe 3 weeks a year, so have to pass for now.

What perfect examples, though............ Thanks all for your information.

Well, here's one we've been in... it was at the same shop we got our's from...

Gee-OR-GEEus coach, but you give up a lot of room for the entryway there and in our humble opinion, the space in front of the pass seat is now dead space...

but to each his own good luck on your search...

If those prices are to saucy, look at the Gulfstream 8356, like in my signature, I got mine for half the price of the Alpine's in the classified, my only complaint is the Gvw

that is the first view of a really nice coach...thanks for the link. Good to know that coaches like this are available for when our ship comes in.

...and for when we can use a coach a LOT more often.
