Fault Light

My chassis batteries died recently & was unable to start my 08 Damon Tuscany. I put new batteries in and all was fine except I now have a Fault light on my Magnum display above my entry door that won't go out. Also, it says I have an Overcurrent message. I took it to a shop and they think it is the Inverter. I question this as there was no problem until the batteries died. I don't think that would cause an Inverter to stop working. I presently have it plugged to Shore power. I think it is the House Batteries or simply needs a reset on the Inverter. I'm new to MH's and am not sure. Any thoughts, Thanks

Chassis batteries should not bother it but House might.

Suggestion: Brew cup of coffee
Unplug from shore
LIFT negative lead(s) off house batteries This should shut down inverter (IF it has a master switch turn it off)

Enjoy coffee.

Re-connect and plug back in.

"mfleming".....Two things....when a Magnum Inverter display acts up, the typical remedy is to go out to the inverter and disconnect what looks like a telephone line from the side. Count to ten and then plug it back in.

If the batteries are working okay and everything else is functioning, it would seem that the batteries were reconnected correctly, but there are often some sensor wires from the inverter that connect to the batteries and may have been connected wrong. One of the sensors is for heat and usually connects to the side of the battery bank to tract temperature.

Might try this. I have 2 Magnums. One has thrown a fault twice in 3 years. Half the electric in coach goes off. I go to basement & push the reset button on inverter and hold for 3 seconds until green light comes on. I believe, but uncertain it's flashing red when I begin.
