Faulty Cruise Control

I could use some help! I have a 1994 Holiday rambler on an Oshkosh pusher drive train and a Cummins 5.9 engine. The cruise, Ford issue, quit working on my last trip. I knew that the vacuum pump was on it's last legs so I overhauled it, WHAT A PAIN IN THE REAR that was to get to!! Now it works but still no cruise. I started at the back and have been working my way forward. There is very little on the web about the ins and outs of how the system is wired and plumbed so I have been winging it. I saw that it should have a switch on the braking system and was hoping someone out there has an idea of where it is located or any other suggestions that would help, Thanks

Do you dash HVAC controls work? Try switching from defrost to say feet or dash vents. This will confirm you've got vacuum in the lines or not. From there the I would suggest you've got power at the unit(by the engine) then the brake switch, then....maybe confirm the wheel control signal is making it back.

FWIW I replaced that POS vacuum pump(once I finally got the damn thing out) with a vacuum pump from Summit. Thing was around $90 and the size of a windshield washer pump. It's worked great from Ca to AK and now on my way back down.

Good luck

Thanks for the suggestions, I have gone thru most of them and will be taking the old girl out for a spin later this next week to see if all is well.
