Favorite coach compliment yet :-)

Since purchasing my 2008 Itasca Latitide in May I have had some very nice compliments from folks I know and strangers alike.

The best one I have heard yet was when I overhead two gentleman walking past and one said to ghe other "boy thats a motorhome and a half".

Whats your favorite complient you have received either indirectly?

When I first bought my coach it did not come with any previous maintenance records. I took it to a Cummins shop, I knew the manager, I wanted a complete inspection and service. After it was done I asked him what he thought >>> He said I got a great coach and it was "Cherry".

I think my favorite compliment so far came from our youngest son. We loved our '04 but we wanted to have more sleeping options for our kids and grandkids. Our son came along with us last weekend along with his fiancée and our grandson. After our 4 day weekend he said he was really glad we bought the new one. They are going with us again this coming weekend. There's nothing like time with family.

When I brought mine home I stopped by a friends house, and he said, "this is a shoes off kinda motorhome". I thought it was funny.

" You're kidding me... that coach can't be 18 years old! "

Got that compliment about a week after the Zep treatment.

I overheard a couple wondering if that was Garth Brooks bus as I road by them on my bike. It is fun to hear all the comments from people riding by in there golf carts. Most of the campgrounds that I have been at I was the only Class A DP

Last week at the Abbotsford International Airshow:

"There's no way that can be 20 years old!!"

"It looks like it just came from the factory"

Me: "It's a 1998"

Him: "WHAAAAAT???!!"

lol

I sent my boss's wife a selfie of me and my just-signed for 23A. Her reply was "I haven't seen you that happy in years!"

I'm not gonna push my luck with a boat purchase, though.

Heard from a 3 or 4yo on a bike with training wheels as they passed our coach on a walk with their grandparents (he was pointing, eyes realy big): Can I sleep there tonight grampa?"

We were in a state park & I think the only motorhome there.....or at least the only one in that loop that little guy saw.

Years ago when we lived in CA and diesel was near $5 a gallon a trucker walked up a said, “You must be rich.”
I said no, I just buy diesel instead of food!
