If I was going to live in it, 3 or more slides,2 baths, 42 to 45 feet long and don't forget it will cost around $450 bucks every time you fill it up. My 40 fter is a good size for vacations.

Here is my list from when we bought:
1 We live in Calgary, mountain driving was a fact as were high winds - tag axle for stability, big engine (525 hp, 1,600 lbs ft of torque) for climbing.
2 We drive in winter, so aqua hot. Engine heats the boiler, which heats the coach going down the road, aqua hot heats the engine for cold starts (especially when I go get it from the storage yard and it is -30)
3 Maximum slide outs (4 or a 3 with a full wall).

After that it came down to price. I found mine in Florida owned by a couple in New Hampshire. They owned it outright so could sell it at my price, which was VERY low. I shopped until I found what I wanted at my price. Took about 4 months.
