Fiberglass roof chaulking

Hello all this is my first post. I have a Monaco motorhome with a fiberglass roof that is white in color. Unfortunately, the roof leaves white streaks down the sides when it rains....or from AC condensate. I am unsure if the roof has been coated or if this is the original finish.

I am looking for any ideas to solve the white chaulking problem. Sure leaves an ugly mess. Can this roof be sealed with anything to prevent this ongoing problem? Any input is welcomed. Thanks!

Your AC condensate should have drain hoses. Check to make sure they are not plugged. Thoroughly wash your roof and, caulk all joints. Coat the roof with
303 protectorant. It is better for you to do this yourself because most people will charge
.40-.60 cents per foot and put it on with a mop.
Doing it yourself will make sure you get it done properly.
This will protect the roof for roughly one year.

A lot of the Monaco's used an aluminum roof that is painted with white paint. Paint chalks as it weathers and then leaves streaks on the side of the MH. Is there a possibility that your roof is metal instead of fiberglass?

DiCor makes a rubber roof cleaner. I used it for the first time this spring (on an aluminum roof) and was very impressed. It remove the chalk quickly and thoroughly. I used a soft brush like you would use to wash the side of your MH. The cleaner removes a lot of the chalking and you want to flush often with a lot of water. I was a little slow in the rinsing department and some of the white chalk ran down the side of the unit and dried. It took some extra scrubbing and rinsing to get rid of the dried on cleaner/chalk.

I had a very similar situation with my Beaver. The white fiberglass roof was chalking and leaving streaks. Two years we coated it with Dicor Fiberglass Roof coating and we've had no streaks from then on. http://www.amazon.com/Dicor-RPFRC1-F.../dp/B007TQI96K
