Fiberglass roof coated and peeling

While cleaning what I thot was a rubber roof, it started to peel. A previous owner had coated a fiberglass roof with a rubber coating. Now should I remove the coating? Patch the peeled area? The coating is embedded with mold that wont come clean.

I believe all 98 Bounders were built with rubber roofs.

I am sure vintage Bounder owners can affirm and let you know how to repair your roof.

Agree - no 98 Bounder had a fiberglass roof as far as I know.

In any case, if the coating is peeling that means the surface underneath was not properly cleaned and prepped. There isn't any way to fix it except to strip it off, clean & prep properly, and re-coat it.
