Fiberglass Run-Off
I have washed my class A RV several times, but when it rains I seem to get a white residue run-off down the entire front of the RV. Is this coming from the fiberglass roof and does anybody have any ideas how to prevent this?

You can also install eyebrows to run the water off to the sides and down the pillars where it doesn't show up so much.

This a problem as old as motorhomes. It is the oxidation of the front cap. When it rains it washes the top of the cap over the windshield and you wind up with white streaks. I always told my customers (and myself) to clean the top of the cap,
with rubbing compound or oxidation remover, all the way back to the screw strip, and wax it twice.

I agree it is from the top of the cap and I have found a cure. Stuff called Rejex. It will last 6 mo before you need to do it again and it is simple and fast and also shines that dull cap like crazy. Not cheap but it works, I got it off amazon.

I agree with Rejex. I just did the whole coach and it's amazingly slick and easy to apply. I also did the windshield and it sheds water as well or better than RainX, plus it's much easier to apply.

I use a pressure washer to clean the roof. Only takes a few minutes. Then I use a sponge mop to apply a coating of Mop and Glow. This also only takes a few minutes.
This stops the streaking for at least 6 months.
