Fill for levelers 2008 Fleetwood
Can someone tell me where the fill for the hydraulic reservoir for the levelers is located on a 2008 Fleetwood expedition? I thought it was in the rear near the radiator but I'm not sure.
Thank you,

Welcome to iRV2.
Hydraulic reservoir near the engine is probably for the power steering.
Leveler reservoir is usually attached to the pump/solenoid manifold.
Can you track down the pump by the noise it makes while operating ?
Should be a metal tank right there.

Hi Skip,
They are not functioning so I can't follow the sound. I have located 4 cylinders near each leveler but I can't see anywhere to add fluid. I am getting an error signal on the front left cylinder.

Do you have any info on the systems manufacturer , HWH , & Power Gear are common suppliers of these systems for RVs.
HWH systems use a common ; central pump and reservoir ; so only have a pressure hose and an electric connection for the jack down sensor , the jacks are returned to the stored position by springs . That's the system I have so your description doesn't sound like HWH.
If you can't find any info on manufacturer of the system , could you post a photo.
Here's what HWH parts look like.

More than likely upfront. Follow the hoses from one of the front Jack's.

There will be a hydraulic hoses to each jack, of which there are four. Follow the hoses back to locate the pump, which will include the reservoir for the hydraulic jacks. Fleetwood diesel pushers typically locate the pump toward the rear on the passenger side, but I'm not familiar with the exact layout of the Expedition chassis. Most any location is possible.
Most Fleetwoods have a Power Gear jack leveling system. Top off with a Dexron III-compatible hydraulic fluid when the jacks are raised. Never fill when the jacks are down!

In 07 and 08 Fleetwood used Power Gear Electric jacks on the Bounders. Not sure about the Expedition.

Fill for levelers 2008 Fleetwood
Here’s a thread where members with 08 Expedition and Discovery post about their electric jacks. Are you sure yours are hydraulic?

Excellent advice all around. I believe they are electric from Power Gear. I did not know this was an option. I will now do some additional research to see what I can find out. The system was working fine. The coach was in storage for a couple of months. I then took it out for a short drive, no problems. Didn't use the jacks, left it overnight, when I started it the next morning the Control panel beeped and noted the fault. I tried clearing the fault and over riding the panel but it won't clear.

To confirm, my 2008 Expedition has electric jacks. I have had my share of problems with them, back jacks are behind rear tires, no protection from water spray (rusted). I extended the mud flats to protect them.
Broke 2 drive pins when attempting to recalibrate, I have had all the jacks off to clean etc...
Still using the original ones.
Good Luck!
