A good point to consider but...(Don't you hate that? LOL)

I suspect that when you compare gassers to DPs, overall weight and suspension differences come into play. Generally I think gassers get pushed around easier by passing trucks and cross winds for a host of reasons. If carrying full water improves handling then I suspect that I would vote for increasing the pleasure of the driving experience over a bit of a MPG penalty.

BTW, I believe my MH handles better with full water, gas & propane. I don't see a big difference as I burn gas since I normally refill at 1/2 tank which is removes about 180# off the rear axle.
