Why figure it out on my own if someone knows the answer? Life's to short to waste time. If I don't know something I ask. If I need directions or am lost, I ask.
If I want to spend my time searching, I'd join a archaeological crew!
I do appreciate all the great help I've been receiving. Only 24 hours in a day and many on this board have helped me save some of those hours and $$$. Thanks so much!

DP and FDP and Doghouse baffled me for some time, but I was determined to figure them out, and I eventually did.

The answers to DW, Dear Wife or Darling Wife, are the most commonly used I believe, although there are times and situations when other words have been substituted.

ThePowells - SWMBO is good enough among friends.

A person I know, who had never driven any kind of truck, bought a 28' class C, then hired a commercial big rig driver to give her lessons. He had her take the rig to a large parking lot, placed some traffic cones and had her practice maneuvering and backing around the cones, then he had her take it out on the highway to get used to driving in traffic. It worked quite well for her, as she learned to drive the thing confidently and competently in a few of hours of practice.

Oldmanlax - I really didn't take a lot of time researching the lingo unless I had to know the meaning; in general there was no immediacy or urgency. But over time and with more exposure, I've picked up some of the "lingo" and acronyms. It's just plain fun for me to try and figure out things like that. However, early on I did specifically ask the Forum about DW, and like you, I will do so again if it's something important.
