I love my residential refrigerator. One less thing to worry about. I also installed a large f/e on my engine cover in the closet drilled a hole and have the nozzle on top of the engine.

One time, when we went to the Glamis sand dunes, there was no breeze in the evening/night. The dust was so thick, you could see it looking across the room of my friends MH. Two of his detectors were going off. He could reset them, but they came back on after about 5 minutes. My friend cut the wires. I don't think he ever hooked them back up.

Oh, and get this: He said he had the exhaust fan on. DUH! It was just sucking the dust inside.

I have a dual unit in mine. HD and Lowe's have a good selection of them for a reasonable price.

wish I wasn't a member of this club. To the people who changed out before a fire ; wow that was incredibly smart. Mine had the recall done and it didnt work. I do have very impressive pictures if anyone wants to get really depressed I could email them. Its so much fun at 2am to be a 1000 mi from home and be left with nothing ; just sayin! I did have insurance and my car luckily. I think the big downside for most people is the expense .
My advise to those with the norcold at the minimum ; put a smoke and heat detector up high behind the refer. Cheap and fast!

No one hurt ; but an incredible pain in the azz. We recently got a 2011 phaeton and are slowly resupplying it. At the time it was me and our dog. If my dog would have been hurt I would have been very very upset and thats putting it mildly.
Most probably dont realize the amount of possessions they accumulate over time ; the mh is really a house. It happened last sept and we still are realizing things we forgot that were in there.

They will want a copy of the fire inspectors report, have you gotten that yet?

terrence beard is the class action lawyer in ca. who is handling the class action suit there. He also has all my pics ; I am not using an attorney yet as class action suits take years and the participants get very little. We are presently dealing with norcold ourselves.
