Firestone vs Sumitomo Tires?

Need opinions have my next tire purchase boiled down between Sumitomo and Firestone. Specifically, Firestone FS 560 (275 70R 22.5 load H) verses Sumitomo. I have read a lot of positive comments on both of these tires very little negative. I can purchase both tires (all 6) for almost exactly the same price out the door for $2750. What do you think?

I think both tires will work out ok.

Most people never wear out the tires, they just get old.

I'm kind of comparing apples to oranges, but I tried both on OTR trucks and I liked the Sumitomo better. Drove better and lasted longer.

I know this is an old thread. Any comments about Sumitomos after having them for several years? Thinking of buying but unsure. Thanks

I ran 6 Hankook 11R22.5 on the back of my 04 Dynasty instead of 295s...a lot cheaper tire, same diameter, and one of the most common size tire made.
Used Firestone 315s on the front.

FS 560's on rears/tag six years no issues. Would buy again. Kids just put Toyos on...about $400 each, 295's.
