Hey folks starting to gather info about coaches and options. The one thing that limits us is the fact we need a wheelchair accessible coach ( daughter has cerebral palsy) and Newmar seems to be the one that always comes up in a search. Is it better to spend a little more and buy a newer coach or look for one 10 years or so old? Has anyone ever bought a coach and added a lift and tie downs? I cannot find much searching online for this option. The Newmar will come from the factory already set up? Thanks in advance.

You maybe able to retro fit a lift system to go through the existing door. However if you have to start chopping up the coach to install a lift you may loose some of the structural integrity of the coach. You might be better off going in a coach with a lift system designed and integrated into the coach to maintain structural integrity. As far as looking for a coach a good place to start is rv.org . They provide a lot of information for the prospective rv owner and it will be some of the best money you spend on your coach. When you figure it out go to oodle.com and punch in what kind of coach you are looking for and if you click the right boxes you can have them send you daily updates.

When we were shopping for our coach, we did see some coaches that were set up with what you're looking for .... buying used IMO is always a little better then new, but you've gotta do whatever works for you.
