First Road trip in our Bounder

Well all set up and about ready to turn a short flick on. first impressions...

Drive was great. very pleased actually. I travelled full of water and boy it rides better than empty. V10 had lots of power. I was not surprised I guess. wasn't hunting at all for gears. had the cruise on about 62-63mph the whole way. toad was great too.

Easy to set up. Powergear jacks worked...nice and level. easy to set up. one light in the wet bay not working but I figure it's just a bulb.

more to come...

One thing that's giving me some grief is the weatherpro awning. it retracted last night, it was below 32 degrees which the manual says is ok, but I want to turn off the wind sensor, and according to the manual you can only do that with a key fob not at the main control? any ideas?

On my 05 fleetwood expedition the only place to disable the wind sensor is on the main control unit which is in the cabinet above entry door. A small toggle switch....

It is always nice when things go good! Take time to enjoy all of your travels to include when things do not go as planned. It is all part of being in an RV!

That is correct; you must use the remote. It's a PITA, but just the way it is.

Keep an eye on the wind when the awning is out, and call the dealer ASAP to tell them that you need the remote. You might call Weatherpro to see if they could walk you through pulling a wire or whatever to disable the wind sensor in the meantime.

On mine there are four connections at the box where the wind settings are. I can just unplug the awning if I forget the remote.
