First Time Towing

Just completed a round trip to FL & towing for the first time. I have a 2007 Terra LX 32K on a Ford chassis (F53) V10/Five Speed. I was towing a 2004 Jeep Liberty with a Readybrute/Readybrake tow system. I was pleasently surprised as to how well the towng went. Vehicle towed with no problems, braking was not an issue & hill climbing posed no problems. My gas mileage average was 7.9 - 8.5 MPG. I didn't tow in the tow mode & encounted no issues with erratic shifting. Towed at speeds of 60 - 65 MPH. The weather was very hot going down & coming back with temps avg. 97 in FL & avg 92 on the road. Engine temp never went over 200 deg & trans temp never went over 168 deg. Only issue was with my Rear vision system going out in GA (weldex). Called RV Cam & had a new Voyager LCDS delivered to our camp sight. Installed it & had it up in running in two (2) hours. System works great!
