I agree. Our 1st real trip became an adventure. We were scheduled to pick up the coach in Ft Worth and a storm hit while we were driving up in the F150. We managed to pick up the RV and get to The Vineyards Campground, and stayed for 3 days. It was great time to learn all the systems.

You can hear it? Our '02 DSDP had an optional roof insulation package and we couldn't tell it was raining unless it was really pouring hard. Same with the present rig.

Our first trip was all rain, we were inside but learned a lot about the coach and had a nice time.

Well our first tri this year was to Bristol TN from Oswego County NY. Poured all the way there (14 hours) and continued to rain until we left on Sunday. All the way home we were in rain also. I took the wife to dinner in Bristol so it wasn't all that bad....

Should we go or not? If we cancel we are out a little money but if we go we may be coach bound on our first trip.

My wife is not real happy with me right now because I failed to get tickets to see Paul McCartney at the Carrier Dome in September and I'm afraid being coach bound might be tough.

Anyone have any suggestions?
I don't understand the problem.....you can get tickets to the concert right now at StubHub at

https://www.stub.com/paul-mccartney-...-2017-3121800/

Just buy the tickets and go on your trip and have fun.

First weekend with our motorhome

I have bought (Eagles, Elton John) and sold tickets (Rolling Stones) on Stub-Hub (I'm prob the only person that sold them at face value plus their commission) they are good to deal with. Didn't have any issues for bad tickets on the ones I purchased.

I should also mention I've been lucky to see Sir Paul McCartney twice. Fantastic show. He sang over 40 songs the second time I saw him. Brought out a local bagpipe band for Mull of Kintyre. You won't regret going.

My wife wanted the $27.50 tickets. I mentioned buying them on StubHub but she said no. #stubborn

Sometimes a guy has to just step up and surprise his wife. My wife is same way about price. She wanted to see Rob Thomas at the Ryman in Nashville. Saw prices and said no way. I went and bought some great seats. She had an awesome time. Said it was even better than the Eagle's concert in LA. Not so sure about that but it was a great concert. Watching her laugh and smile. Priceless.
