On my normal morning walk around the campground saw something I had never seen before, and thought it was a great idea. Luckily the owner of the MH was outside so I asked if he minded if I took some pictures to share on here. He was vey nice, and said he didn't mind. Here is 2 pictures of attaching flag mounts using glass suction cups.

I can see that grabbing device being handy for several other applications as well.

Yep, I use one to hold onto while on the ladder cleaning the windshield.

I may be full of baloney, but I would be concerned with delaminating the fiberglass on a hot day with the pull of those suction cups.

I mount the flag on every patriotic holiday. I just mounted a flag holder to the railing in our ramp then I mounted the American flag on pole. Easy, piece of cake. I would not consider mounting a flag holder directly to my Motorhome. I would be afraid I might damage the fiberglass.

Looks cool, but with those big flags I wonder if side winds crack off the plastics mounts.

The windshield was the only place he had them mounted. I personally wouldn't put them on fiberglass either.

I have a neighbor in our RV park here who installed a flag holder on the windshield of his Motorhome. What you could do is install a flag pole on the ladder to your roof. For those who like to fly the flag up nice and high. You can get a package of zip ties to hold the pole on. They are cheap, strong and will hold almost anything in place. Plus if you need to remove the flag pole later for any reason zip ties are easy to cut with scissors.
