Fleet wood diesel pusher review

We ar about to go look at a 2004 Fleetwood Tradition motorhome Diesel pusher 40' with 3 sliders. We have 2003 Coachmen Rendzvouz 34' gas motorhome with 1 slider. We just want to know if fleetwood is a good diesel pusher? Thank you.

I have had in order a 98 Discovery 36T
A 2010 Allegro bus 43ft
I now own a 2011 Tradition 42P I bought the last two new. They both had bugs like most. The current Tradition has been Very Good, Fleetwood has excellent factory service if needed.
I think your choice would be a good one if all is serviced and cared for.
BTW I really like the tag axle myself on the slightly longer models.
Check it out good have fun !

This is an American tradition, right? Made by the Fleetwood RV company, but not designated a "Fleetwood" model. They were built on a separate assembly line, to entire different specs/standards than Fleetwoods. substantially better made than the Fleetwood branded models.

Of course, I'm prejudiced because I own one like you are looking at: 2004 American Tradition 40V triple slide. It's not perfect, but it's a very desirable coach.

Fleetwood diesel pusher update

Correction:

It is a 2004 Fleetwood American Eagle 40' with 3 sliders. It has 35, 800 miles and is pretty clean. He dropped the price down from 149K to 118K and will give us 25K trade in on our Coachmen. They are supposed to call us today after contacting the bank. We have excellent credit, so just waiting to hear from them. Thank you.

This goes along with what Gary said earlier. It is an American Coach Eagle, the parent company is Fleetwood. I too, am a bit biased, but Eagles are great coaches. Check out the American Coach section of the Fleetwood thread. Telephone tech support is really outstanding.

The original $149k was way overpriced. You should be able to buy that coach anywhere for $100k-110k, even if in fabulous condition. Even 118k is a bit above top dollar, so it had better be more than "pretty clean". In average condition it should be more like $100k
