Fleetwood Discovery 40X

Hello,

My family and I are looking to purchase a discovery 40X. I was wondering from owners if you are able to walk back to the bathroom and bedroom with the slides in? When the slides are in is there anything blocked that is an issue? We now own a Voltage 3600 and that is one thing we did not pay attention to when we bought this rig and we won't make that mistake again.

Thank you!

Kara

Hello and We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy our website and forums. Good luck, stay safe and keep us posted.
What year is the Discovery? You can Google search for the year make and model floor plan. Usually bathroom facilities are usable when DS/O are in. Take care and enjoy the hunt.

We have a 40E. 1 & 1/2 baths. Can get to back bath but have to crawl over bed, with slides in. Rarely have to do that.

We have the 40X and like Fiesta, we can easily get to the restroom but need to crawl over the bed if needing to get into the closet. The refrigerator is also accessible but you will not be able to fully open the door as it bumps into the table.

It is a 2011. I looked at a floor plan and it looks like there might be space. I'm just worried it is a small space where you have to turn side ways and squeeze in. This camper is in TX so we don't have the opportunity to look at it yet.

I had posted a similar request a while ago, and there are some pictures here that might help:

I have a 2011 40X and there is no problem waking back to bedroom. The table on our u shape dinette even moves so that you can open the Fridge door the whole way. I just ordered a new coach at the Hershey show and am trading this one in.
