Fleetwood Discovery (Carpet update)

have a 1998 Fleetwood Discovery that I would like to replace the Carpet in the living area with hardwood and the bathroom with tile. The living room & kitchen area has hardwood & carpet. The question is if you can lay the hardwood under the dining room table which is on the slide (worried about extra weight and how you would trim it out). It looks like you would use 3/8's flooring. If you lay tile, can you use regular tile and grout? Again, I worry about the weight and vibration while traveling if the would damage the grout. How thick is the floor? How thick is the floor in the slide and is it wood? Any pictures, advise or suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Thin Laminate flooring is fine and light weight but I would not do tile. It looks good but the extra weight will hurt handling and fuel mpg. I've been thinking about the Laminate flooring for mine and I see where a lot of people use the 3/8" 3/4 round molding and glue it with silicone around the edge of the wall or flooring. This way it can come off if you need it to and it will not hurt the wall.
